About Claire & Addicted to Design

My name is Claire and I am addicted to interior design. I am a wife and a mother, with a beautiful princess and a handsome wee prince.

My love for interior design started as a young child where I was always changing my bedroom around and styling different parts of my room to suit whatever stage I was in at the time.

After finishing school I chose to study a Diploma of Interior Design at the Christchurch Institute of Technology and realised I had found my vocation in life.

From there I went on to work at Peter Mark Floorpride in the soft furnishing department for 10 years, where for the past 5 years I have continued to work part time while bringing up my two children.

After having my children and designing their own special bedrooms, my passion for interior design evolved into a love of beautifully created products, colours and themes for children's bedrooms.

It was then I realised I wanted to share my passion with families and create beautiful spaces for their children to learn, play, dream and grow.
Addicted to design was born.
